Lake chala is known as Dschalla,is crater in caldera on the borders of Kenya and Tanzania on the eastern edge of mount kilimanjaro,8kms  north taveta and 55kms from the town of moshi.Depending on the time of year it ranges in color from deep blue to turquoise and green, it is surrounded by a 100 meter high crater rim. The  lake is fed by groundwater flows, which come from mount kilimanjaro,fed and drained underground.even the chala loses volume, it’s level had dropped in the last 6 years,bt 2.4 meter;at the start of 2011 the water level has risen again by over 1 meter.now days it’s possible to stay and swim in this lakes.

In the morning we will pick you from your hotel and head to Lake Chala. Upon arrival we will make registration and take our guide then start walking to lake chala. Along the way  you will see amazing trees,grasses,plant also animal like monkey and birds,butterflies monitor lizards,baboons and fish.

After we wind up the beautiful day we will walk back to the gate and head back to moshi town, whereby we will drop you off at your hotel.
